Pastries and Posh Cocktails at the Commons Lobby Bar
Stroll by the selection of intricate and expertly crafted pastries at The Common in New World HoiAna Beach Resort and you’ll have a double-take-moment, wondering if the gorgeous pastries or fruit. We spotted the pastries under the cloche on the way to dinner, and immediately made a note to come back when we had finished - which we did. And a second time, the next day, when we were pleasantly surprised by a new feature flavour.
The posh, lobby-bar is a flawless place to end an evening, while you sip on a cocktail and dessert, on the most comfortable seating that invites conversation, attentive staff and impeccable drinks, overlooking the resort. It’s just as fantastic when you visit in the afternoon for coffee and pastries, as when you visit in the evening to make your way through the well balanced cocktail menu.
The Commons is the heart of the New World Hoiana Beach Resort experience. It’s a magnetic hive of activity and a go-to gathering points to meet, socialize and share ideas. Designed to inspire and engage, this buzzy, interactive, free-flowing space is a social hub for residents and global travellers alike. Check in, grab a bite to eat, find a place to watch the world go by. A small bar and a la carte snacks are available all day.
Fresh, innovative ingredients intrigued us in the bar menu and we were delighted with well-balanced, bright and absolutely-sippable cocktails.
What to Eat+ Drink at The Commons
When it comes to pastries, try all four of the feature pastry flavours. Small bites, share with friends, or pack them up to take with you - it’s a delicious way to discover flavours of the week.
Drink: the macchiato is delicious, and the lemongrass old fashioned and Malibu pandan daiquiri were standout cocktails, with a fresh take on classics, inspired by classic local flavours.
