A cornhole tournament is a competitive event where players or teams take turns throwing bean bags at a raised platform with a hole in it, aiming to land the bags either on the board (1 point) or through the hole (3 points). Players or teams score points based on where their bags land, and the game continues until one side reaches a predetermined score, usually 21. Tournaments can vary in format, with individuals or teams competing in single-elimination brackets or round-robin play.
